Spring Edition 2023

If you’re crazy about fashion, like myself it’s always fun to take a look at what new things are coming down the pipeline with regards to colors and fashion! Maggie, the store manager of Chico’s Naperville, IL, and I recently hosted a wardrobe edit and Chic Sneak Peek of items that haven’t even hit the floors or online yet. We host an in store event each month with a different theme. In addition, we offer shopping and styling assistance, which feeds my passion of FASHION, FRIENDS AND FUN! Green is having a major moment for spring! I’ve shared before that it’s not a color that I had much of until recently; and I have to say I’m really liking wearing it! This no iron shirt is so comfortable, comes in a variety of colors, can easily be worn with skirts, jeans and even shorts! Additionally, you can leave it untucked, wear it open over a tank, do a front tie, or even a half tuck allowing you to style it many different ways and achieve many different looks! I paired the No Iron Shirt with the Ikat Wide Leg Soft Crops. The entire outfit is super comfortable! You know I never feel complete with out my accessories so I added the Black Beaded Multistrand Necklace. I think it’s more figure flattering on my hourglass shape to add definition to my midsection so a belt can easily be added. My belt has been in my closet forever, but I’d recommend adding the Soft Studded Obi Belt or Tassel Obi Belt from White House Black Market. Lastly, my faux suede green heels completed the look.

Spring is a mixed bag of weather here in the midwest. I’m rarely without an additional layer or two for warmth. I’ve shared this moto jacket before but it pairs perfectly with this outfit and can be worn with so many other items and most seasons! It’s difficult to spot in the photo but it has lots of great details! Featuring a tweed fabric body, this jacket has faux leather on the collar and trim, triple fray detailing on the sleeves, Ponte fabric sides for shaping, and the classic moto design. Layer it with button down shirts for a cool, timeless look.

The colors in the pants also pairs beautifully with the “Blue Veil” No Iron Shirt. Blue is one of my favorite colors to wear. The white and black No Iron Shirts would be an easy pairing as well.

Chico’s is currently offering so many super comfy, easy to wear tees with statement sleeves! They’re all so cute, so easy to wear and super easy to style! You can easily throw on any one of these tees with a pair of jeans, pants, crops, shorts a skirt and go! You’ll look so put together with the easy of quickly getting dressed without much effort! Such a WIN!

Excuse my stocking feet and fitting room try ons…You can clearly see that this top is so cute with white denim and blue jeans! These white jeans are AH MA ZING…I talk about them in our live! White can be hard to find that doesn’t show every lump, bump and cellulite! These fit great and don’t show anything!

Another great tee with statement sleeves! I’m telling you that I just can’t get enough of these as the styling is so easy and immediately you look well put together! Not to mention the great comfort! Isn’t navy and white so classic and fresh?! Again, please disregard my fitting room stocking feet but it does give you a better sense of what it looks like on verses simply holding it up for you to see. It’s still a tad too cold here to wear it out and I don’t want to cover up the amazing sleeves! Come on warm weather!!

This black tee with amazing sleeves features eyelet and embroidered flowers in pink, blue and green. The pop of color is great for spring and summer and can easily be paired with shorts in those colors or colored denim!

Maggie was kind enough to allow me to include a picture of her in this beautiful tee! You can see the bold colors and the super cute earrings that she paired with the tee! Again, so easy to put on a tee and some earrings and look so cute requiring little to no extra effort! That’s winning!

FASHION, FRIENDS AND FUN is always the winning trifecta for me! Each month I get the pleasure of hosting an event with Maggie and inviting all of our local friends to join us!
