Red and Pink Looks for February

Do you like to dress festive for each of the holidays? As you can guess and if you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know my answer is a BIG yes! As a maximalist, I tend to go all out for each and every holiday. However, you can add simple touches to your outfits to be festive without being over the top. February is the perfect time (Valentine’s Day and American Heart Month) to up your red and pink game! Isn’t it great that wearing those two colors together are a thing?! Here are some outfit ideas to make getting dressed throughout February FUN especially if you live in a cold weather climate like me! Don’t forget: wear what makes you happy!

3D Embroidered Poplin Stripe Shirt

Statement sleeves continue to show up in the most fabulous ways! These 3 D sleeves are absolutely stunning! Plus they have a smocked cuff, which allows you to push up the sleeves and they will stay put! How cool is that?! The vertical stripes are slimming. You can pop the collar or leave it down. Did you know that you can style a shirt in various ways? Show here: leave it out, of course you could tuck it all in, do a half tuck or tie it at the waist. The shirt can easily be worn with white jeans, white pants, black pants and blue jeans! I paired the shirt with Heart Print Pull-On Cuff Ankle Jeggings. The heart detail at the knee and the ankle add more fun Valentine’s vibes. This shirt can easily be worn any time and any season. It also comes in black and white. I’m clearly doing a try on at my local Chico’s. If I was wearing this look out, I would not be wearing the boots shown. I would add a red or white pump or a red or white bootie. Additionally, I would complete the look with some accessories.

You’ve gotta love Chico’s Big Heart Pink Pullover Sweater. A subtle blouson sleeve adds a hint of fashion to this easy boat neck sweater. Offering a flattering, non-cling fit that falls nicely over your hips although I pushed my up slightly. You could also do a half tuck. This pullover can be paired with pants or jeans so you can celebrate the season of love in style.

Maybe all the pink and red isn’t your thing. I’ve got the perfect solution for you! How about this graphic Love tee in black?! It’s got a little bit of sparkle and a lot of sass and fun! I paired it with this gorgeous embroidered plaid tweed blazer! The blazer is long and perfectly covers my backside and hip area! This tee and blazer are a perfect pairing for work or for fun! Pops of red in my accessories, belt buckle and boots add some additional interest although you could just do black from head to toe.
